Meet the Artist

Meet the Artist

Hi, I’m Evie – the artist and creative spirit behind Simply Affinity. From a young age, I was drawn to the beauty of the natural world and found joy in creating with whatever I could get my hands on. Whether it was painting, drawing, or crafting, I was always looking for ways to express myself through art.

After graduating from the University of North Georgia with a degree in Marketing, I decided to take a leap and run Simply Affinity full-time. At the time, my business was primarily focused on selling gemstones— I had fallen in love with gemstones during my years working at a gemstone jewelry boutique and attending gem shows. I was fascinated by their beauty and the natural artistry they held.

As time went on, though, I felt a pull back to my creative roots. I began experimenting again—painting, sculpting, stitching—and slowly, Simply Affinity started to evolve. What began as a gemstone shop gradually transformed into a space where I could fully express myself as an artist.

I started doing art shows in 2021, and was overwhelmed by the response to my work. It encouraged me to keep creating and sharing my work.

Today, I focus fully on creating art—something that feels like coming home. I work across many mediums to create my nature inspired jewelry including:  polymer clay, embroidery, and wire-wrapping. I am especially drawn to creating tiny, intricate jewelry pieces—little wearable works of art. People often ask if I use a magnifying glass because of the fine details in my work!

What inspires me most is nature—the patterns, the colors, the textures—and I try to reflect that awe and wonder in everything I make. I believe when an artist creates from a place of passion, that energy shines through. That’s what I aim for with every piece: to create something meaningful, beautiful, and authentic.

Simply Affinity is more than just a brand to me—it’s a reflection of my belief that we all have something we simply love to do, and that following that passion can lead to beautiful things. My hope is that my art not only brings joy but also inspires others to reconnect with their own creativity and dreams.

Thanks so much for being here. I’m truly grateful to share my work with you.

— Evie
