Ammonite, Opalized Ammonite (#9)
Weight: 272 grams (9.58 ounces)
Approx. Dimensions: 2.5"x2"x.75"
During fossilization, the nacreous layer of some ammonites were chemically transformed into an iridescent material called ammolite, which is aragonite with varying mineral impurities that is considered to be an opal-like gemstone. Ammonite spirals work as a filter. They draw in negative energies and replace them with wonderful, positive energy. ♡ The wonderful rainbow iridescent of the shell serves a a great reminder that, "The greater the storm, the brighter the rainbow." In life, sometimes we have to go through hard times to appreciate the good times. Ammonite reminds us to bask in today's rainbow and let the clouds of the past dissolve behind us.
